Hi, accel here again. This time I'll be taking a look at the 1/144 HG Cherudim Gundam. I have to say, of all the 4 Gundams from season 2 Cherudim Gundam is my least favorite MS.
The design just doesn't click with me, and the dull green doesn't help either. I know it's a more realistic military green but I prefer a more lighter green.
Being a kit from the 00 line, Cherudim's articulation is great but the small feet causes the kit to topple from time to time.
The kit is able to pull off great poses if you are willing to fiddle a bit with the leg in order to get just the right balance.
The GN verniers of the back pack are molded as separate yellow pieces which is a nice touch.
The GN rifle can be folded and stored on the right shoulder with a hinge.
CHERUDIM, IKIMASU!!!!!
The kit looks awesome weilding the GN rifle. XD
The kit can easily hold the rifle with one hand without any weight issues.
One hand sniping.......albeit impractical........you still have to give it points for looking like a badass. XDDD
MY RIFLE IS THE RIFLE THAT WILL SNIPE THROUGH HEAVENS!!!!!!!
Because the kit has great articulation, the left hand can easily swing around and hold the handle from the rifle.
The kit does look good in this snipping pose. XD
The red head jewel is replicated through sticker but you can always paint it in clear red as it is molded as a transparent clear part. The jewel can be flipped up revealing the iconic sensor but in this configuration the part is only held up by friction so you do have to be careful not to lose it.

The GN Pistols came molded as all white........so little paint is needed if you want to make it look good........by the way the so called axe mode is a bit derp to me.
The pistols are a bit flimsy as they do not fit perfectly in the hand and tends to point down if you put it in a horizontal direction.
Let's finish this quick so that I can have some PRIVATE TIME with Anew......XDDD
The kit also came with a clear stand that lets you attach the shield bits on it.
It's a very nice add-on as it enables you to pull off those shield bits' formation in the show.
The kit is able to pull off a nice kneeling pose while holding a sniper. This was quite a surprise for me since when 00 was airing, among the HG kits I have only the 00 and this kit was able to pull it off.
The Destiny line kits before 00 can only wish they have this level of articulation.
Sniping pose is brillant on this kit......and this is probably the last suit Lockon can pull off this pose as we all know what happened with the successor unit......Zabanya.......pew pew.....pew pew pew.....XD
The pose that probably most real life sniper will be in instead of flying all over the place with magical pixy dust.........XDDD
The visor that Cherudim only used like 2 times is also included but you have to paint it in order for it to be show accurate.
Seriously though..........a visor on top of a hidden sensor..........I wouldn't be surprise if it can snipe from Earth to Moon.
Overall, this is a good kit even if you are comparing it to recent kits that are coming out. 00 line is a quantum leap from the Destiny line and the HG kits that Bandai pumped out after it only got better and better. After all is said and done though, I wouldn't suggest getting this particular version. The GNHW/R Cherudim version is a better deal as it comes with the rifle bits that the suit used in the final battle. I got this kit way before they announced the GNHW ver........ORZ.......I should have know better that Bandai will milk anything they can get their hands on.........XDDD
