1/100 Tsugumori Kai Ni Kotobukiya Unboxing

Hi, accel here again bringing you the unboxing of the Tsugumori Kai Ni. I was going to buy the original Tsugumori but I hesitated since I am really not a fan of its head sculpt. But when Kotobukiya decided to release this Kai Ni ver, I immediately pre ordered eventhough the mech only appeared in the anime series for like 2 or 3 episodes. ORZ
The box is slightly bigger than your average MG but do be careful with the shipping. It cost me 3000+ yen just to ship this kit. ORZ

 Side view of the box.

Here is Kotobukiya telling you to buy 3 of these kits just to recreate the docking scene(掌位). XD

Another side of the box, the ridiculously long barrel is gone on this kit. Guess I do have to buy the predecessor. XD

This kit is a multicolored injection kit but as you can probably tell due to the design of the mech it's mostly made up of white, grey and black.

The only thing special is it comes with a clear blue part for the visor and the tip of the thruster unit is pre painted with black. Something Bandai will never do with their Gundam line because they will either make it a separate part or they will just tell you to buy their Gundam marker and paint it yourself. XDDD (Marketing at its best)

Oh and I forgot to mention according to the manual, the box art is done by Tsutomu Nihei, the author of the manga himself. (The guy who basically made up a story for his scratch build kit using Exia as the base.XDDDD)

You can clearly tell the kit rehashed some of the runner from the original Tsugumori.......

Some poses you can pull with this kit. Judging from the design, I am not expecting the articulation to be 00 Gundam level. Oh and unlike the anime ver of Tsugumori that comes with a base, this Kai Ni does not come with any of that which means you have to buy a separate display base. ORZ

This is my first Kotobukiya kit and I have no idea what to expect. The parts count almost rival that of a MG Gundam kit. With alll the white parts that need sanding I'll try my best and do a review on it as soon as I finish building it. ORZ
I'll end the unboxing here with the logo on the last page of the manual. The coorparation that appeareed again and again in Tsutomu Nihei's manga. I really want a graviton radiation emitter.............................................XDDDDDDD
