Hi, it's me accel again. This time I'll be unboxing the VF 25 Messiah (Deculture Decal Version!) from Macross Frontier.
I thought that I'll get myself a Variable Fighter model kit after watching the first premiere episode of Macross Delta just to see what I can expect from Bandai for their VF 31 model kit which may or may not happen ( XD damn you DX Chogokin). Please forgive me for the poor lighting. ORZ
To be honest, I still haven't finished watching the show. The reason I got this version of VF 25 is because I can't seem to find the Alto ver anywhere. Originally releasing around 2008, this line only received a second run around 2013. This makes it hard for me to get my hand on the Alto ver so I had to go with the Ranka ver. The box art is straight to the point, fan service!!!!!! XDDD

That's right the main selling point of this kit is that it is capable of transforming between fighter mode, gerwalk mode and battroid mode. Although I heard plenty of horror stories about parts snapping on the internet
The parts are mostly molded in white and grey with a touch of green for the head.
The kit also has a partial inner frame made of ABS plastic.
The difference between this and your typical Gundam kits is that it comes with 5 metal pins. I think this is for the hinges related to the transformation.
The manual is directly from the Alto ver (ORZ the version that I wanted in the first place).
Lastly, the content exclusive to this deculture ver. It comes with your standard stickers and a water decal one so that you can choose which one to put on. There is also a separate manual that instructs you on how to put on the decal exclusive to this kit. I heard that the water decal is extremely prone to scraches during transformation so do be careful when handling the kit.
